Pour Over

Pour over coffee is a simple and elegant brewing method that emphasizes the nuanced flavors of high-quality coffee beans. The method involves pouring hot water over a bed of coffee grounds in a paper filter, which allows for a precise and controlled extraction of the coffee.

  • 1) Boil water and let it cool to 93°C
  • 2) Grind coffee beans to a medium-fine consistency and use the 1:16 rule, each 1 g of coffee, use 16 g of water
  • 3) Place a paper filter in the pour over cone and rinse it with hot water to remove any paper taste.
  • 4) Discard the rinse water and place the pour over cone on top of the mug then add coffee grounds to the filter and shake it gently to level the bed.
  • 5) pour enough water to saturate the grounds and let it bloom for 30 seconds.
  • 6) Pour water in a circular motion, starting from the center and moving outward, until you reach the desired weight of coffee. Wait for the water to drip and then discard the filter
  • Voila! Ready to enjoy in your cup!
